- I love fantasy and sci-fi. The Lord of the Rings directed by Peter Jackson is probably the triology that really inspired me to write.
- My parents home-schooled me. I loved it. There is no way I could be doing what I am doing now if I hadn't been.
- I do like being on sets, but not only as the screenwriter. I like to be useful. Film making is a group effort, and my vision that I put on paper is only the start. The director, actors, gaffers, editors, and everyone else all have wonderful visions of their own. It's when everything is put together that you get an amazing movie.
- I am not the only film maker in my family. My younger brother, Nathan, is an actor.
